Bastard Café is a board gaming café that prides itself on being open and inclusive and you will find students, families, geeks and friends meeting up here.
Founded with the mission to get the world playing more board games, the founders Bo and Jost believe that Bastard Café is for everyone and regardless if you know rules to none of the games or all of them, the café’s friendly volunteer game gurus will be happy to help you get started.
Bastard Café has over 100 games that are free to play all day, every day, featuring family classics, the newest releases and a selection that the best modern boardgames have to offer.
If thats still not enough then Bastard Café has another 4400+ boardgames available for you to try for a small fee or as part of a Bastard membership.
Bastard Café also has events. Every Monday you can play games and find new friends at Monday Matchup.

Bastard Café Downstairs
Bastard Café Downstairs is an additional location to Bastard Café and has more of a bar like feeling. Bastard Café Downstairs is located 'downstairs' in the front house of Huset with an entrance from the yard and the opening hours here is only evenings and weekends.
Enjoy an ice cold Gin & Tonic in gin bar while playing one of the many board games also found here.

How can I reserve a table?
You don't need to reserve a table. Walk-ins are always welcome! But if you want to make sure to find a free table you can reserve a table at Bastard Café's own web page.
Does Bastard Café serve food and drinks?
Bastard Café serves a variety of delicious warm and cold drinks and sinful toasts, fries and nachos. You won't be able to stop yourself.
And Bastard Café also has a students discount. You get 50% off the normal price of coffee every week day from 12 to 4 PM.
Is it free to play games?
Yes, about a 100 games are free, but if you want to have access to all of the 4400+ games it'll cost you 25kr per person.
If you become a member of Bastard Café you and a friend can play for free all year.
