We love our large, loving, and festive community of volunteers at HUSET. Without our volunteers, our cultural center wouldn't function as well as it does now. They help out behind the bar, on stages, and at events.

The bar team
Volunteering as a part of HUSET’s bar team involves manning the bar during a cultural event, assisting with running the events, tidying up, managing the entrance and ticket sales.
As HUSET is currently undergoing renovation, we have temporarily moved our cultural events to other venues in Copenhagen. You could, for example, run the bar at concerts at Stairway in Vanløse or at cultural events at Kulturhus Indre By – all organised by HUSET and made possible with the help of our fantastic volunteer bar team.
As a volunteer at HUSET, you’ll get to experience a wide variety of events – from concerts to theatre, open mic nights and comedy. And you’ll be helping to ensure the audience has a great time.
HUSET’s bar team consists of roughly 100 active volunteers, all of whom lend a hand at our many events.
To be part of the bar team, you need to be able to work two evening shifts a month. Shifts are allocated according to a monthly rota, and it’s possible to swap shifts with each other.
As a volunteer, you’ll get free entry to all of HUSET’s public events, discounted staff prices at HUSET’s bars, and of course you’ll be invited to our two annual volunteer parties!
