Bubbling Well release concert | Musikcaféen

Bubbling Well started as an idea, which then became a duo, then a trio, and finally ended up as a quartet.

With only one concert under their belt and plenty of love from P6 Beat, the group is now ready to celebrate the release of their debut album, Bubbling Well, releasing on April 4th on Part Time Records.

We’re celebrating at Musikcafeen on April 11th, where Norm Dogs will also perform live, and DJs will be spinning delightful vinyl records.

Bubbling Well has three songwriters, which also means three vocalists. This allows them to cover the entire vocal spectrum: from the powerful to the airy and delicate, to the sound of someone who has long since given up. But the songs are always melodic! As Robert Scott from The Bats might have said: "It’s okay if you cry – as long as the melody is right!" And for Bubbling Well, that also includes guitar and bass melodies, and even a kind of drum melody.

Bubbling Well consists of Søren (ex-Tex Fuller), Silje (ex-NO), Emil (ex-Mønsterrapporten), and Claus (Younolovebunny). They have a fondness for Flying Nun, Beat Happening, British folk rock, and Sonic Youth, as well as a deep love for reverb pedals and well-organized rehearsal spaces.
