Debre Damo Dining Orchestra + support: Circle-Work

Get ready for an evening of Ethiopian jazz.

Imagine you are in the basement of the nightclub La Mamouniai in Marrakesh in... 1971. This is not just any jazz night – it is a celebration of music and vibes that will have you grooving from start to finish.

The ensemble, founded by saxophonist Søren Lyhne Skov and organist Peder Vind, brings a unique blend of Ethiopian jazz, Afrobeat and experimental sounds to HUSET. We will also be bringing our vinyl releases, which will be available for purchase.

Support: Circle-Work

Long time record collector and music geek, Circle-Work (Aka Clinton. S) has been playing records in Melbourne, Oslo and Copenhagen for years.

With a heavy interest in Old school Pop culture and all things quirky and absurd, he has a tendency to spin tracks spanning many genres and scenes.

On the night expect: Afro beatz, Spirtual Jazz, Odd-ball grooves and Psych Soul.
