Hot Mess Brass band

The Hot Mess Brass band is a dynamic modern brass ensemble, recontextualizing echoes of popular culture through funky New Orleans-style arrangements. 

The four blazing horns and a powerhouse drummer fuse the raw energy of street performance with intricate harmonic arrangements and free improvisation. Their repertoire spans 90s pop, house classics, 60s rock, Ethiopian grooves, funk, and soulful jazz — all filtered through an imaginative brass prism. 

After playing at Copenhagen's hottest corners, such as Nørreport Station, the Hot Mess Brass Band is now ready to serve their sonic gumbo to a stage near you.
