Lauge Heebøll – echoflower releasekoncert + support: lovehitshard

For the very first time with a full band, Lauge Heebøll invites the audience into the dark and luminous world of echoflower – a unique release night where the album unfolds live in full force.

Copenhagen-based Lauge Heebøll shapes echoflower as an intense coexistence of contrasts: raw noise and fragile melodies, dark synth textures and luminous hope. Where melancholy once stood alone, it now resonates in a new collective form – for the first time, his music will unfold live with a band.

The release concert at HUSET will be a truly special evening – not least because it marks the very first time Lauge performs with a band. Until now, he has always stood alone on stage with his electronic setup, but with echoflower the music unfolds in a collective form that brings an added layer of energy, dynamics, and presence.

It opens a new dimension in the performance, where the dreamlike passages and heavy beats are amplified through the interplay between musicians.

Following performances at Roskilde Festival 2024 and an appearance on DR P6’s Mon Amie Complexe, this release show marks the culmination of years of work.

The audience can expect a concert filled with intimacy, explosiveness, darkness, and light. As Lauge himself puts it: “I am fascinated by the space music can create, where there is room both to cry and to dance.”

Support: lovehitshard

The project of Simi Dyrn, lovehitshard, combines ethereal synthscapes, fragile vocals and grimy industrial beats into expansive songs filled with longing, beauty and despair. The project is inspired by artists such as Arca and Fever Ray and blends elements from genres like punk, pop and darkwave.
The lyrics explore themes of loneliness, identity and belonging, drawing heavily from Simi’s experiences as a trans person. When performing live, Simi is joined by three band members.
