You can experience several free jazz concerts and enjoy a cold draft beer in HUSET’s Courtyard during the entire Copenhagen Jazz Festival.  
It takes place 05.07-06.07 + 08.07-13.07 at 15:30 + 17:00 + 18:30 

Madame Machine

Madame Machine came about in 2022 when guitarists Mikkel Hermansen and Jason Shooster meet by chance at a jam session in a Copenhagen park. They quickly bonded over gypsy jazz pioneer and founding father, Django Reinhardt. 

The band’s style of gypsy swing is punchy and dynamic and the repertoire consists of jazz standards, traditional roma folk tunes and original compositions. 

On clarinet and saxophone respectively, Andrea Crespi and Ali Badreldin are both classical musicians turned jazz men. A versatile and talented timekeeper on upright bass and violin, Thorbjørn Kaas completes the group.
