Mozambique's very own Deodato Siquir will add his dynamic drumming to the mix, infusing the performance with a unique African groove. Rounding out this remarkable lineup is the acclaimed Danish pianist Carsten Kær, whose award-winning artistry will guarantee the marvel of this Nova concert celebration.

The Tropicália movement, which emerged in Brazil in the late 1960s, was a cultural revolution that uniquely blended traditional Brazilian music with global influences. It challenged the status quo and pushed boundaries in music, art, and politics. Gal Costa was a central figure in this movement; her powerful voice and bold artistry helped define its sound and spirit.

This concert is a rare opportunity to experience the fusion of Brazilian, African, and Danish musical excellence. It promises to be an unforgettable evening inspired by the cultural revolution of Tropicália. A movement that reshaped Brazilian music and influenced generations of artists worldwide, connecting us all in a larger cultural movement.
