Steen Rasmussen Quinteto is considered one of the country's best when it comes to Brazilian-inspired music, known for its unique Brazilian jazz with a Nordic "twist" style. In doing so, they have achieved a unique musical familiarity. They have released 8 albums and have been nominated for both the DANISH JAZZ GRAMMY, and 2 times CARLPRIS nominated. They have toured and recorded in Brazil, Ecuador, Columbia, Spain and Denmark.

Now the Quinteto has once again invited their old friend, the Brazilian singer and guitarist, Leo Minax, to guest with the orchestra. They will interpret each other's songs in a musical landscape of Nordic melancholy, Brazilian Sauda de. In addition, songs from the great Brazilian Bossanova back catalogue will be played.

The quintet is very proud that the fabulous Brazilian "first call" drummer, Celso de Almeida, will also be performing at the concert. In 2023, Steen Rasmussen released the album "Milton på Svenska". Leo Minax is one of today's most notable singers and guitarists in Spain, Denmark and Brazil. He is a highly respected singer-songwriter, he enchants any audience he attends. Originally from Minas Gerais, Brazil, where he started his musical career on the same street corner as the legendary artist collective Clube da Esquina, playing with Brazilian artists such as Lo Borges and Toninho Horta.

Lis Wessberg is one of Denmark's leading trombonists known for her beautiful tone and unique feel on her instrument. In 2021 she started her career as a soloist and has released 3 albums with her band 'Yellow Map'. In 2024 she was nominated for the Danish Grammy Awards.

Bassist Bastian Sjelberg is known for his groovy playing style, whether it's his electric bass or upright bass across different musical styles.

Steen Rasmussen is among the leading Danish pianists and leads one of Denmark's leading interpreters of Brazilian music. His band has existed for 14 years and has released 8 albums.
