After being falsely accused of killing the leader of the biggest gang in NYC, the Warriors must fight to make it back home from the Bronx to Coney Island safely in one night. It’s a comic book morality tale, Westside Story crossed with A Clockwork Orange – but is also a thrilling and gritty tale of brotherhood and survival against the backdrop of a gritty, nightmarish 1970s New York.. The movie was popular among gang members in general who would turn up in force to watch it and then and brawl in the streets.
