From Cuba's vibrant musical tradition emerges Tiempo Cuba, a project that combines the modern energy of salsa and tropical music with the island's deep rhythmic heritage. The group's recent releases, such as the singles “Fuego en el 23” (2024) and “Adónde Fueron” (2025), showcase a contemporary, danceable sound with strong roots in Caribbean identity.

The band places itself in the tradition of Cuban popular music, which has created universal genres and a sound culture known for its rhythmic richness and ability to bring people together on the dance floor. Their interpretations combine tradition and modernity, creating a festive experience for both seasoned salsa enthusiasts and new audiences.

Tiempo Cuba consists of five musicians who together create a diverse and powerful sound: Henri Benítez (Beni) on lead vocals; Oldrich Gonzales on piano and vocals; Ruben Millet on multi-percussion and vocals; Alfonso Núñez on bass and vocals; and Jakob Johansen on trombone and vocals. Together, they deliver an energetic live experience with presence, interplay, and Caribbean warmth.
