Vinterjazz: Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys (ZA/DE) + support: LIV IN THE WOODS
Experience Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys as they fill Musikcaféen with their captivating blend of art-pop, post-punk and tender noise. The band moves gracefully between fragile intimacy and powerful release, creating live performances that feel both visceral and poetic.
The Berlin-based quartet is known for its immersive concerts, where sound, emotion and presence merge into one hypnotic expression.
About the artist
Formed in 2015 by South African-born singer-songwriter and guitarist Lucy Kruger, the band took shape after relocating to Berlin. Here, the project evolved into a creative collective blending noise, vulnerability, and sonic experimentation.
The lineup features Lucy Kruger (vocals, guitar), Liú Mottes (guitar), Jean-Louise Parker (viola), Gidon Carmel (drums) and Andreas Bonkowski (bass).
Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys have earned acclaim for their visceral yet delicate performances. Their Tapes Trilogy explored identity, desire and transformation, while Heaving (2023) delved deep into the body’s raw instincts. The upcoming album Pale Bloom (2026) promises to expand their sonic and emotional reach even further.

Support: LIV IN THE WOODS
LIV IN THE WOODS is soulful and melodic country-folk with a penchant for melancholy. The songs move in a sometimes dusty, sometimes forest-dense universe, but always with the heart on the sleeve and a lump in the throat. In true Americana tradition, the band delivers what Dolly Parton calls “sad ass songs,” where vocals and guitar are allowed to fill the space. Raw, honest, and unpretentious—broken hearts have never felt so good.
The band released their first single, “Daylight,” in 2025 and has several more releases on the way.
LIV IN THE WOODS consists of frontpeople, singer and songwriter Liv Clausen and lead guitarist Ask Stig Kistvad. Jannie Lund-Wolff is guitarist and backing vocalist, Cille Lund-Wolff is backing vocalist, Erika Lindstrøm Jensen is bassist and Kent Olsen is drummer.
