Final Descent & MSLAH : Hands On Fire (INT) + entrance/d (SE/ES/DK)

Catharsis, doom-punk & euphoric walls of sound

A night of collective intensity with two Copenhagen projects working at the edges of free jazz, noise, repetition and extreme music. Hands On Fire brings a ten-piece collision of doom-heavy grooves, no-wave guitar, horns, strings and free improvisation, while entrance/d appears in a stripped-down duo formation, building ecstatic states through repetition, exhaustion and dense walls of sound.

The concert marks the release of Hands On Fire’s debut album and is presented together with Movement Shaped Like A Heart.

Hands On Fire

Hands On Fire is a ten-piece free jazz and doom-punk orchestra from Copenhagen’s underground and alternative scene. The collective brings together doom-heavy grooves, no-wave guitar, Mingus-esque horn melodies, words and strings, moving between explosive passages and intimate acoustic sections.

Their long-form pieces are shaped through composition and free improvisation, with elements of performance, theatre, folk music, punk, ambient and free jazz folded into the music. On stage, the group moves as one large organism, with arrangements opening up and changing from concert to concert.

Following a spring and summer of packed concerts and the release of Hands On Fire – Live At Xenon, the group releases its debut album in October 2026 through Copenhagen collective and record label Movement Shaped Like A Heart. The concert at Huset på Stairway is the Copenhagen release show for the album.

entrance/d

entrance/d is a Copenhagen-based collective devoted to the ecstatic potential of sound. Founded in Hong Kong in 2025 by Yi Ten Lai and Harald Ture Ingvarsson, the project changes continuously in size and format, bringing different musicians together around a shared approach to extreme sound.

For this concert, entrance/d appears as a duo. Repetition, exhaustion and sustained intensity form the core of the performance, with layers of sound accumulating into euphoric walls of noise and long passages pushing towards trance, overload and release.

Their self-released debut album Re-Enchanted by Fire explores a pre-nihilistic form of transcendence through perpetuation, repetition and sheer sonic force.
