In their latest duet, Helena Alves and Mar Espona explore the tension between expression and judgment, freedom and conformity. Through movement and humor, the performance creates a space where both performers and audience confront the social constraints that shape our daily lives.
Is society ready to face those who express themselves loudly — whether out of frustration, joy, or excitement? “AARGH!” encourages the audience to reflect on why being loud often carries a negative connotation, and to discover the liberating joy of expressing oneself without judgment. The performance will be paired with an artist talk, giving the audience insight into the creation process and providing context to deepen their understanding of the piece.
