HUSET x Loppen: Talk Show (UK)

Talk Show has built a reputation as one of the UK's most exciting new bands since the South London quartet began releasing a series of critically acclaimed singles in 2017. The band's debut EP, These People, was released in 2020 following the pandemic, and Talk Show was more than ready to let their creativity flow in a restriction-free world: 

They traded the raw post-punk from their early releases for a fierce, guitar-driven version of dance music that made them stand out on London's almost oversaturated post-punk scene. 

Effigy, Talk Show's long-awaited debut album, offers a bold and exciting showcase of the band's dramatic evolution, drawing on influences from The Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy to Nine Inch Nails and KLF, as they hit a raw, primal sound at the intersection of techno, electronic, industrial, and rock music. 

The result is an immersive, multi-sensory experience that conjures up a dark, sweat-drenched warehouse filled with dancing bodies, all radiating heat and desire, anxiety and release, ecstasy and desperation.
