After unwitting mishaps on a movie set, bumbling Indian actor Hrundi V. Bakshi (Peter Sellers), can kiss his brief Hollywood career goodbye. But fortune has it that Bakshi mistakenly receives an invitation to an exclusive dinner in a Hollywood mansion. As the welcome intruder rubs shoulders with the unaware guest, Bakshi has his first ever sip of alcohol and soon he is back at his old shenanigans again.
