Award-winning guitarist and composer Albert Yde Waidtløw presents his latest project featuring handpicked musicians from the modern jazz scene in New York. The music is based on new compositions where Nordic sensibility meets the energy and improvisation of the big city.

The lineup features Albert Yde Waidtløw on guitar, Claus Waidtløw on tenor saxophone, the rising star pianist Wilson Woods, Matthias Petri on bass, and Karl Wind Seyer-Hansen on drums. Together, they create a lively and dynamic interplay that allows for both intimacy and virtuosic displays.

The sound is inspired by contemporary NYC jazz while drawing connections to Brazilian composers such as Egberto Gismonti and Toninho Horta. The result is a nuanced expression where melodic strength and rhythmic complexity go hand in hand.
