Paradise Jazz: Back2Bag

A new and exciting name has emerged on the Danish jazz scene:

Back2Bag – a quartet consisting of four strong personalities who together create a powerful and dynamic sound with deep roots in modern jazz, groove and improvisation.

The band brings together four musicians with strong individual voices and extensive experience from both the Danish and international jazz scenes. With their shared love of the acoustic quartet sound, the freedom of improvisation and an energetic, contemporary approach to composition and ensemble playing, Back2Bag brings something new and vital to the scene.

The music moves in the intersection between modern jazz, groove-based rhythms and lyrical passages – always with a solid foundation and a clear musical direction. The repertoire consists primarily of original compositions written by the band members, which gives the music a personal and authentic character.

Back2Bag is currently promoting their debut release, BACK2BAG-TRANEING AGAIN (live at Utopia), which was released in September 2025 on all online streaming services.
