Paradise Jazz: Celebrating Bessie Smith NO/SE/DK

Asbjørnsen – a renowned jazz singer, songwriter and stage artist – has released eleven albums and appeared in musicals such as Chicago, Cabaret and The Producers. Her long-standing collaboration with pianist and arranger Anders Aarum has created a unique musical universe filled with poetry, drama and swing.

In Paradise Jazz, the trio presents an enchanting mix of original compositions and reinterpreted classics, performed with Asbjørnsen's characteristic combination of poetry, charm, and elegance.
