FROM MTV TO JAZZ: KRISTIN KORB'S PERSONAL TRIBUTE TO EURYTHMICS
MTV and the sound of Eurythmics' hits were the soundtrack to Kristin Korb's teenage years. Annie Lennox's power vocals and strong visuals were impossible to ignore and left a lasting impression. On Sweet Dreams, Kristin now gives her personal take on 12 Eurythmics favorites, elegantly combining her great talent as both bassist, vocalist and arranger.
A JAZZ JOURNEY THROUGH EURYTHMIC'S GREATEST HITS
Sweet Dreams is much more than just a cover album. Kristin Korb weaves Eurythmics' timeless hits into a vibrant tapestry of refreshing new jazz arrangements that reflect her personal journey with Annie and the band's music, delivering a series of captivating interpretations that pay homage to the originals while highlighting her unique artistic style.
TOP-SHELF MUSICAL MASTERS
Kristin's bass grooves hit deep and powerfully, accompanied by her long-time musical trio partners Magnus Hjort on piano and Snorre Kirk on drums. Their almost familial connection is evident from the first beat, and you really sense the mutual trust and sublime interaction that only arises after many years of musical collaboration. The evening's special guest is Karl-Martin Almqvist on saxophone.
