Paradise Jazz: Mette Juul 'Thank You and Other Stories' | Copenhagen Jazz Festival

Jazz singer and songwriter Mette Juul has published current album `Thank You & Other Stories`, which is receiving great reviews internationally for her songs.

Over the years, Mette Juul has found herself in a mix between the singer-songwriter tradition and the universe of jazz, where storytelling and the atmospheric soundscape are in focus. With her new album Thank You & Other Stories' she continues in that landscape.

Thank You & Other Stories and the former album CELESTE has expanded her audience and gotten her a multitude of impressive reviews from the danish and international press. Both albums, in their own way, solidify Mette Juul's musical stance, where she fuses the Nordic sound with the American jazz and singer-songwriter tradition with her own songs, new interpretations of jazz classics and songs by songwriters such as Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell.
