Skeleten (AUS)

How are we shaped by the world around us? Australian musician Skeleten invites you on a meditative journey through consciousness, transformation, and shared connection.

Behind Skeleten is Russell Fitzgibbon – composer, producer and visual artist – who, with his new album Mentalized, explores how our bodies and minds are shaped by everything we encounter: technology, media, relationships and each other.

The concert unfolds as a sensory and poetic universe of electronic textures, guitar noise and dreamlike vocals that weave in and out of one another. The music revolves around themes of losing control, finding hope in community, and resisting mental fatigue in a world saturated with information and impressions.

Drawing from trip-hop, house and 2000s indie, Skeleten’s sound moves between intimacy and energy. Expect hypnotic rhythms, hazy guitars and vocals that invite both movement and introspection – all held together by a deeply personal artistic presence.

Skeleten doesn’t just make music – he creates atmospheres and spaces. On stage, his inner world unfolds through sound and visuals, and you’re invited into a state of reflection, connection, and quiet euphoria.

“This whole record is the feeling of your brain being shaped by all the forces in the world. I’ve been thinking a lot about your body being physically altered by the content machine. Even the deepest things that make us human are up for grabs, we are literally transformed by what we see, mentalized for better or worse."
