Sunraker + support: Vega

Sunraker is a rising name on the Danish rock scene, already making their mark with an intense and atmospheric sound. With roots in post-punk, shoegaze, and cinematic soundscapes, they create a universe that moves between the dark and the explosive.

At the forefront is vocalist and composer Sophus Alf, internationally recognized for the award-winning soundtrack to the video game Deep Rock Galactic. His background in classical music, rock, and film composition shapes Sunraker’s sound, which evokes comparisons to acts such as The Cure, Mew, Jeff Buckley, and Deftones.

Formed in 2022, the band consists of Sophus Alf (vocals/guitar), Louie Sears (lead guitar), Mikkel Skibbye (drums), and Lasse Mortensen (bass). Together, they have crafted a musical universe where atmospheric melancholy merges with raw energy – a live experience that resonates in both body and soul.

Behind the name Vega, you'll find singer-songwriter Astrid Brandrup Torsting and her big band. They create a world where acoustic warmth blends with electronic soundscapes and dreamy intensity.

In a short time, Vega has made its mark on Copenhagen's upcoming scene with concerts at Ideal Bar, Byhaven, and Krudttønden, among others. Now they return to HUSET—this time as support for Sunraker on September 25.
