The Honker & The Tickler | CPH Jazz Festival

The Honker & The Tickler ragtime duo revive the playfulness of 1920s and 1930s ragtime blues with heartfelt authenticity and drive. Maksim Sorokin on blues harp, washboard, and vocals, and Daniel Rodrigues on banjo, guitar, foot percussion, and vocals, the duo captures the raw, rhythmic energy of early American roots music. 
Drawing inspiration from icons like Blind Boy Fuller, their performances bridge past and present, blending historical reverence with lively, street-corner spontaneity.
