Veronica Rud Duo

Veronika Rud is a singer and composer from Aarhus who has made a name for herself with her debut EP 'Mens Jeg Venter', which has attracted a lot of attention on P8 JAZZ. 

She invites listeners into an atmospheric musical universe where inner life is shared with  honesty and presence. With great love for musical traditions, filled with elements from the modern Nordic jazz scene, R'n'b and folk music, she paves the way for the music's very own agenda. 

In a univers where the soft and energetic expression merges and through curious improvisations and playful rhythms, one is reminded of the traditional jazz scene while new musical connections emerge. 

Veronika's music takes the listener on a journey, that will hopefully touch and connect people across different backgrounds and experiences!
