Yuuf (INT) + SUPPORT: Peter Juul Møller | Musikcaféen

Yuuf is based in London, but brings together musicians from four different countries. Anthony Boatright (English) on bass, Hugo Cottu (French) on guitar, Andrin Haag (Swiss) on handpan and percussion and Oliver Overgaard (Danish) on drums. 

It was their shared passion for music, exploration and fusion of sounds from around the world that first brought the four together. Now they create psychedelic instrumental music, mixed with elements from Motown, West African rhythms and a jumble of other genres in their very own sound. 

Right now, Yuuf is up to date with their debut EP "In The Sun", which was released in early June 2024. Silky Spring, the band's first single, was released at the end of February and flew into the airwaves on BBC 6, KEXP, KRCW and other radios from the US, Spain, Switzerland and Denmark.

From the patient and cinematic to the hectic and beat-driven, Peter Juul Møller uses the Spanish guitar as the focal point of his music. 

With technical inspiration from flamenco music, he explores the guitar’s dynamic versatility to express both fragile and passionate passages.

The concert will be a sneak peek into an ongoing album process.
