Favorite Things: Nu Persei + Outro

Outro:
The new Danish duo Outro, consisting of Jonas Cook and Jonathan Ludvigsen, explores the boundaries between piano and drums. Through an intense and challenging, but at the same time calm fusion, this duo manages to transform hectic beat music into a therapeutic experience when Jonas' accordion and melodies from the piano meet Jonathan's lively drums.

The members are not a new acquaintance on the Danish music scene. Over the past few years, Jonathan has released music under the name J. Ludvig III and played with, among others, Erika de Casier and Jonas have also toured with artist Astrid Engberg.

In addition, they have a shared past in the band Athletic Progression for 8 years, and they therefore know each other very well, which characterizes their intuitive way of intertwining when they play.

Nu Persei:
Nu Persei is a new music project that embodies an ever-evolving live experience. An amorphous project where modular synthesis, orchestral strings and club music converge, evoking a new sonic territory of modern bass ‘n’ chamber music. The performance will be one of the project’s very first shows, presenting an iteration of music written and recorded over the last couple of years.
