Macie Stewart (US)
Macie Stewart, known for her work with Makaya McCraven, Finom, and a wide range of avant-garde projects, creates a unique blend of improvisation, string arrangements, and electronic elements.
With her latest album, When the Distance is Blue, she explores the sound of moments suspended between destinations – a dreamy and cinematic sonic universe that draws the listener in.
Look forward to a concert where the boundaries between composition and improvisation dissolve, inviting you to let your thoughts drift along with the flow of sound.

Bubbling Well release concert | Musikcaféen
Bubbling Well started as an idea, which then became a duo, then a trio, and finally ended up as a quartet.
With only one concert under their belt and plenty of love from P6 Beat, the group is now ready to celebrate the release of their debut album, Bubbling Well, releasing on April 4th on Part Time Records.
We’re celebrating at Musikcafeen on April 11th, where Norm Dogs will also perform live, and DJs will be spinning delightful vinyl records.

THE TALK: Behind the Scenes with Jonas Hollerup Helle
Step into the creative mind of Jonas Hollerup Helle, the talented Copenhagen-based artist and film editor whose digital collages transform interview footage from the Charlie Rose Show into unexpected cultural commentary. With clever editing and perfect timing, Jonas creates moments that blur the line between reality and imagination—equal parts absurd, dark, and humorous.
This is what it sounds like when I think | XENON RESIDENCY
“This is what it sounds like when I think” is an audio-visual performative exploration of how a digital musical instrument (Tankelyd), controlled by the brainwaves of Jeppe Forchhammer, who was born with Cerebral Palsy, can be part of a more accessible sound-creating practice.
The performance also aims to showcase the possibilities for people with different functional abilities—not only to create sound in new ways but also to experience the freedom of exploring their own creative inner world in collaboration with others.
Jeffrey Lewis & the Voltage (US) | Xenon
Jeffrey Lewis specialises in a unique and, quite frankly, brilliant form of indie rock that also picks the best elements from folk music. It’s no coincidence that his upcoming album is titled “The EVEN MORE Freewheelin’ Jeffrey Lewis” (Bob Dylan fans get the reference!).
Lael Neale (US) | Musikcaféen
Lael Neale is an American singer-songwriter specialising in stripped-down folk and experimental production, delivering music that feels like the soundtrack to your most cherished dreams.
With a distinct voice and poetic lyrics, the Virginia-born artist delves into themes of isolation, longing, and hope. Armed with her Omnichord – a toy-like synthesiser with built-in rhythm functions – she fills live venues with resonant tones, droning synths, and beats, blending intimacy with intensity.
Oskar Krusell | Musikcaféen
As one half of the band Kogekunst, Oskar Krusell has been pushing the boundaries of what scrappy pop music can sound like since 2014.
His music combines elements of alternative folk, infused with personal and poetic Danish-language lyrics. At the same time intimate and in-your-face! Oskar is not one to hold back, but when the quality of his songs is top-notch, you’re more than happy to embrace it.
Albertine Sarges (DE) | Musikcaféen
Albertine Sarges' new album, Girl Missing, is the highly anticipated follow-up to her acclaimed 2021 debut, The Sticky Fingers.
The project emerged from personal loss—after a close friend abruptly cut ties, Albertine turned to songwriting, assembling a musical mosaic of love and longing. “I was crafting a sonic biography of love,” she reflects, intertwining themes of female friendship throughout. The missing girl of the title is not just someone lost, but someone longing.
