Xenon
Xenon consists of a black-box stage with seating stands and a bright foyer with a bar and high ceilings.
When there is no theater, Xenon is the center of atmospheric seated concerts with room for complete tranquility and immersion. The beautiful acoustics and separation from the bar create the perfect setting for entering a more meditative state with instrumental music such as neo-classical and ambient.
Xenon with its many former names
It originally started under the name Klub Tatuba (known as Tatuba på Tariffen) back in the 70s, where Alrune Rod played a legendary 8-hour closing concert in 1975, which has been immortalized on vinyl. At that time, many of the best rock bands and names in fusion jazz played on the stage. Over time, the venue has also been called Plan B, Planeten, and from 1975 to 1995, Husets Teater was located at Xenon before moving to Halmtorvet. In recent times, rock pioneer Blixa Bargeld, pianist Hania Rani, violinist Kishi Bashi, and jazz trio Mammal Hands have provided great musical experiences on stage.

Xenon Residency
The concept of Xenon Residency gives ambitous and visionary artists the ultimate creative space to mix diffenrent art forms. We'll leave the keys to Xenon for about a week and the artist are making unique experinces by creating fantastic scenography, visuals, light, art and other musical expressions.

Capacity and price
Xenon has room for 130 standing guests and 120 seated guests.
The price depends on the purpose of the event and technical need. Ask therefore our editors for the specific price.
