Rino Sivathas (NO)

Drummer and composer Rino Sivathas has made a name for himself on the Norwegian jazz scene in recent years with a forward-thinking and visionary style. Alongside his participation in various projects, his own ideas and compositions have been simmering over time, culminating in an energetic and unpredictable solo project. Here, jazz, hip-hop, and electronic music merge into a soundscape characterized by beats, synths, and fluid improvisation. It’s groovy, super tight, and raw all at once—a fresh and open space where listeners are invited into the warmth.

For this project, he has brought together some of the country’s most promising jazz musicians, each contributing their unique touch to the music. Rino Sivathas was recently awarded the Jazz Talent of the Year prize at the Molde Jazz Festival and is also well underway with the production of his debut album, set for release in 2025, marking his debut as a bandleader.

F L E M M I N G

F L E M M I N G is alternative Danish rap that masterfully mixes hip hop, jazz, poetry and storytelling in a twisted way with down-to-earth lyrics and a vocal with an honest expression that sets F L E M M I N G apart from the crowd and places him in a category of his own.
F L E M M I N G presents a contemporary take on classic hip hop through personal stories and his distinctive sound.

F L E M M I N G has created his own place in the Danish hip hop scene since his debut EP “På Gensyn Med Gåsehud” from 2014, and has shown over the past 10 years that in the contemporary hip hop landscape there is also room for alternative soundscapes, present rap and the personal story. 

The album “Vågner Med Solskin” from 2022 marked the beginning of a collaboration with rap colleague Pede B's new record label Sardina Music. The album reached a wide audience and was well received by both listeners and critics, and was nominated for a Gaffa award as the Danish hip-hop release of the year in 2023. 

F L E M M I N G has most recently been active with the album "Tilbage Til Nutid" from 2024.
